Wet-nursing Practice in the Malay Society According to Islamic Perspective: A Cross-Sectional Study

The practice of wet nursing or breastfeeding another woman’s child(ren) in Malaysia, especially among Muslim mothers is on the rise. This due to emergence public awareness benefits breast milk children. However, it claimed that some do not have clear understanding Islamic rulings concerning relating mahram (prohibition marry), nasab (lineage) and inheritance.
